Description

  • Plasma arc is a high current arc welding process that uses ionized conducting gas or powder as the plasma material
  • It requires a shielding gas, argon or mixture of argon serves as the majorly used shielding gas in plasma arc welding
  • Two types of torches used in plasma arc
    • Transferred arc - Transferred arc uses water cooling along with the gas shielding
    • Non transferred arc - Non-transferred arc torches does not uses water cooling
  • The advantages of plasma arc welding is the welding finish and quality
  • Protected electrode makes electrodes maintenance free
  • Consistent welds without any slag or breakages

  • Just one-touch will finish the pre-defined job in fully auto model
  • Both motorized/hydraulic column and boom setups available
  • Table speed and table rotation are the parameters of the welding positioner.
